Since opening its doors in 2008, Out There Outfitters has climbed its way into the hearts of the adventure-seeking community. Located in Wayne, PA, the store is one of the Philadelphia area’s largest suppliers of gear and clothing for the outdoor enthusiast.
Sarah McDonald and Heidi Fenstermacher became owners in 2018. Sarah brings over two decades of industry management and buying experience. Before partnering with Sarah, Heidi learned the ins and outs of business as the owner of a landscape design company. Heidi utilizes her design sense in merchandising the shop.
Sarah and Heidi met while teaching environmental education in 1995. Since then, they’ve traveled the world together; from backpacking in Glacier National Park to soaking up the sun in Sedona to camping along the coast of Portugal and Spain. Any chance they get, Sarah, Heidi and their son, Bodie, spend time hiking, kayaking and enjoying their adventurous lifestyle. Sarah and Heidi have a deep appreciation for nature–and it shows. As soon as you walk into Out There Outfitters, your inner explorer will be ready to get outside.

The Square Pear Fine Art Gallery, is a walk-in gallery with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Located in the shopping district of historic Kennett Square, their gallery is a well-loved spot for the local arts community.
The Square Pear’s exhibits change monthly and center around a theme inspired and interpreted by the artists represented that particular month. The gallery’s owner and curator, Corien Siepelinga, focuses on showing various styles of artwork from local, national, and international artists.
